Polish Tatra Sheepdog Kennel: NUTRENA
Our history goes far back in the past. Everything started in 1970. At the very beginning my uncle with my father took up breeding Alsatian. Then , after several years they launched Polish lowland sheepdog. W also had a bitch of Tatra Sheepdog:
Zbójka , who lived with us for 14 years.
At the beginning of 90’s we started breeding Caucasian Shepherd Dogs. We had bitches: Uva, Brita and sire: Bari. Brita was with us the longest. She lived 13 years.
However 5 years ago we decided to come back to Polish root and to take up with the Polish breed. We chose Polish Tatra Sheepdogs.
Why Polish Tatra Sheepdogs ?
Because this is our native breed, which is, what is really worrying, becoming less popular in Poland and beyond this we have still in memory our old Zbójka - the beautiful, large, white dog, undemanding , even tempered dog .
Therefore Now we have two bitches today Turnia, Grań, and sires Rum and Amant - running in our backyard, all of them are Polish Tatra Sheepdogs.
In our kennel several dozen of puppies have been born so far. They found homes not only in Poland but also in Germany , the Netherlands, Denmark, Russia, Italy, Belarus, Latvia and Hungary
