Polish Tatra Sheepdog Kennel: NUTRENA
Our history goes far back in the past. Everything started in 1970. At the very beginning my uncle with my father took up breeding Alsatian. Then , after several years they launched Polish lowland sheepdog. We also had a bitch of Tatra Sheepdog: Zbójka , who lived with us for 14 years.
At the beginning of 90’s we started breeding Caucasian Shepherd Dogs. We had bitches: Uva, Brita and sire: Bari. Brita was with us the longest. She lived 13 years.
However in 2000 year we decided to come back to Polish root and to take up with the Polish breed.
Why Polish Tatra Sheepdog?
Because this is a beautiful, dignified dog with excellent handling characteristics. Besides, we have still in memory our old Zbójka, the day operating at a flock of sheep and goats, and at night guarding our house.
So for several years are with us Tatra Sheepdogs. Each year provides us with many unforgettable moments, when on the shows win top prizes. Some of these include: Vice World Winner, Club Show Winner and Best Club Show Breeding Tatra Sheepdog 2010.
But kennel is not just an exhibition and demonstrations are also puppies. Therefore, in our home from time to time come into the world of small, white "balls", which find their new homes not only in Poland but also abroad like: Germany, USA, Canada, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Ukraine and Hungary.
Our long-term work with dogs, studies on department of biology and cultivating of animal- Agriculture University in Krakow - about reproduction of dogs end master work and title of Assistant of International Judge. This knowledge and experience help us to lean new owners of Polish Sheepdogs in put first steps in cultivating and shows.
